Kaspersky Mobile Security is a convenient and reliable solution that protects smartphones from Internet attacks, malicious programs that target mobile platforms and SMS spam. It also provides protection for confidential data stored on a smartphone should the device be lost or stolen. Functions
Anti-theft protection:
Protection of personal data for a lost or stolen smartphone. To protect personal data stored on a smartphone if it is lost, a user can block his/her smartphone or delete files, messages, and the list of contacts remotely. The user can also find out who the “new owner” of the lost device is.
- SMS-Block. In the event of the loss of a smartphone, a user can send a “hidden SMS message” to it, which blocks access to the smartphone until a pre-set password is entered.
- SMS-Clean. This function is similar to the SMS-Block feature, but, rather than blocking the smartphone, it cleans the device’s memory and memory cards.
- SIM Watch. The SMS-Block and SMS-Clean functions are only available if a smartphone is enabled and the original SIM card is installed. If a smartphone is stolen, the “new owner” will most likely immediately replace the original SIM card. The SMS Watch function will prevent the “new owner” from accessing any personal data without the initial SIM card inserted in the device. If the initial SIM card is replaced with a new one, the SMS Watch function will send the original user the new telephone number of the device without the “new owner’s” knowledge.
Antivirus protection:
All incoming or modified SMS, MMS and email items are automatically scanned for malicious programs.
On-demand scanning of the mobile device is available at any time. The user can pre-set the best time for antivirus scanning and it will be performed automatically. If an infected object is detected, it is stored in the quarantine folder or deleted.
Firewall
The user can select one of the integrated IP firewall protection levels. Depending on the level selected, one or more connections will be restricted to provide user security.
Anti-spam for SMS/EMS/MMS.
Telephone numbers of known spam sources, any incorrect numbers (for example, text numbers) or unwanted words or phrases can be added to a blacklist to ensure that such messages are always blocked. You can also add the addresses from your contact list to a white list. In the Symbian version, MMS messages are also filtered.
Automatic updates.
Antivirus databases are updated automatically at intervals set by the user. Updates are available via
WAP/HTTP (GPRS, EDGE, WiFi, etc.) or via a PC during synchronization.
System Requirements
Symbian OS 9.1, 9.2 Series 60 (Nokia smartphones only)
If you buy MMC, it is usually preformatted with 16K block. Therefore a lot of space is wasted as most installed program files are usually less than 2K.
You will need a card reader to do this :
1. Connect card reader and copy all your files in the MMC to computer disk. (Make sure you set the show all/hidden/os files to "on")
2. Do a format of the MMC using command line "format" and use the /A=size option.
Alternative, you can use the Disk Management in Adminstrative Tools to format. Make sure you select FAT. - For 256MB MMC, smallest block you can use is 4K, - For 128MB is 2K, - For 64MB is 1K - For 32MB is 512B.
(Note: You cannot use the phone "format MMC" to do this as the format just clear the allocation table and does not change the block size)
3. Copy back all files to MMC.
Now you will find that you will have more space. 256mb MMC got back 30+ mbs.
Note:: For any lose of u r DATA Or any thing we shall not be responsible.

An international cell phone operating on the 900 band 1800 frequencies will not function in North America (excluding Washington D.C.) and much of South America. Islands in the Caribbean may be GSM 1900, GSM 900 or not GSM at all.
Maybe. Over 90 percent of the GSM phones sold in the United States of are GSM 1900 only and so will not function overseas. This like bringing an AM radio to a city where they only have FM. Like the radio example you will not get a signal with your phone outside of North America.
Of course, you can always purchases an international cell phone by clicking here.
If your phone is GSM and capable of function on either the 900 and/or 1800 frequency then your phone will work overseas.
Any GPS-receiver needs to have a clear view at the sky. If this not possible, e.g. in a parking garage, position accuracy will degrade or the receiver may not be able to produce a position-fix at all.
GPS is the Global positioning system of the U.S. Department of Defence (DD) and consists of 24 satellites, which orbit the earth. A GPS receiver can compute location, velocity and time from the signals that are transmitted by the satellites. The TraceME contains a very sensitive receiver tracks up to 12 satellites simultaneously.
- GSM is circuit switched. If the TraceME unit sends data Via GSM, a channel is reserved (just like for voice communication) and data is transmitted. You're charged for the time the channel is reserved.
- SMS is a short Message that's send via the GSM network and can contain about 140 characters. For large amounts of data or for messages with short time-intervals this is usually not the best option to choose to speed and financial reason.
- GPRS is alway on and packet switched. Data is sliced into packets and transmitted through the GSM network. This faster and cheaper because network capacity is used more effectivly. You're charged for the amount of data that's being transported, not the time that the unit is online.

The SGH-i607 (Blaskjack) has several connectivity methods to access the internet (through use of an external modem).
ActiveSync Method USB: The handsets hips with activesync 4.2 and an USB data cable.
ActiveSync must be installed an setup properly to use it as a tethered modem. As a means of connectivity, it loads RNDIS. This driver assists in the usage of the device an an external modem. Earlier version of activesynce do not support this new configuration so subsequently; the function is not operational on them. There are other configurable options that are required to set this up however they will need to supported through Cingular, (Data plan required, usage of their data kit, etc...)
Bluetooth Modem (DUN/PAN): The Balckjack does have bluetooth 2.0 W/EDR.
As a result, the DUN/PAN profile can be utilized when a successfully Bluetooth connection to a computer has been established. It is important to note that different bluetooth vendors require different driver to operate different profiles. Please consult with the vendor for proper bluetooth driver configuration on the PC if there are difficulties. Since the ICS client is not accessible by default, this method of connectivity is unsupported by Samsung.
CDMA Driver Method: The handset ships with drivers for the Qualcomm CDMA chipset (MCCI 4.38).
Installation of these drivers when configuration of a DUN connection through windows can result in internet (data plan needed from Cingular). Note: Activesync will need to be disabled for this to work otherwise ActiveSync will load its own set of drivers when running.
NOTE: The blackjack with windows mobile operating system is not supported for connectivity with an Apple/Mac computer.
One of the few problems with having a phone with a nice big display is that many games do not display full scree. No problem!! it's an easy fix that anyone can do and you'll be running full screen games on your phone in no time.
Note this will work about 95% of the time on phone models. I have not tested in on other models but fell free. This will not work on phones with a landscape screen. This will work with MIDlet by the way, not just games.
Guide:
1.Using an archiver such as WinRAR, open the jar file.
2.Once you have opened the jar, you will see a folder called 'META-INF'. Open this folder.
3.In the META-INF folder there will be one file called 'MANIFEST.MF'. Drag this file onto your desktop and open it in notepad.
4.Now you must know 2 things to edit the file. First, you must know the original resolution of the game. Ususally this information can be found ont he author's website. Second, you must know the resolution of your screen. Then type the following two lines at the end of the text in the MANIFEST.MF file.
In the example above 'www.xxx' represents the original resolution of the game. 'yyy.zzz' represents the resolution of your phone's display.
5. Now save the changes in the MANIFEST.MF file and drag it back into the META-INF folder in your jar file to overwrite the old one. 6. Now adapt it with JAM-2.0 7. That's it! Now install the jar to your phone and enjoy your full screen game.....
